I wouldnt to talk about the cards since it would be an easy part comparing to other components. But sometimes, it is complex in some way.

Here are some RFQs from publishers.

1.How many cards can be on one sheet?

It depends on the card material and card size.

  1. I dont know how to submit the files?

First, please make sure what you submit is a vector files, so we could change and make it correct to fit production process. And make sure the die cut line and the graphic is not in the same layer. Please dont embossed it into the graphic layer.

In CMYK color mode

3mm bleed is a must, bleed means the continuum of the graphic.

Card files could be submitted by two files, like card front and card back, this is the best way to go.

  1. I dont know the standard die cut you have. please asked me on facebook.

4.Here is the video for your review to check our card factory from raw material to packing.

5.Could I chose the glossy or matte varnish percentage by myself?

Yes, I used to meet a clients who are looking for the cards, when you write on it, the writing are there on cards always, you cant erase it. This required more matte varnish and less glossy.

For someone who would like to erase the writing at any time, this is Chinese glossy varnish, it will make the card thick, like the glass.

6.For packaing

It would be better to divide your card deck quantity 30-130 for the common cards, for card quantity above 130, we have to hand divide them, so it will be easy to make mistake and it will increase the labor cost. And for uncommon size, it would be better to have below 110 cards.

7. Card material

Grey core: It is cheap in all the card when the weight is the same, we have 270/280/300gsm in stock. The side core of the card should be grey or a little yellow, it depends what you get.

Blue core: This is a standard game card, better than grey core. Inside is blue, we have 280/320gsm in stock.

Above of these two cards, they are not good in printing, except the 280gsm grey core.
Art paper,250/300/350gsm/400gsm. They are good in printing since the core is white.

Black core, this is the most expensive and have many things to say.

  1. When I went to the show, I found one of my clients got me a card, they called black core, but when I tear it,turns out it to be blue core.
  2. There are chinese black core, here is picture, only two layers, the same as grey core and blue core, only better.

Chinese premium black core, three layers, we use it for casino since the extra layer make it hard to penetrate the light.

Germany black core, they are the best! with one side linen embossed on material. And you can feel it is stiff when you have it in hand, expensive cards always bring you happy but not for your pocket.

If you have questions, feel free to let me know.
